Your personal information and uploaded documents are stored on secure, encrypted servers. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Access to your data is restricted to authorised Claim4me personnel who need it to manage your claim.

We retain your information for as long as necessary to manage your claim and comply with legal obligations, and for a minimum of 7 years as required under Australian financial services regulations.

5. Who We Share Your Information With

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Your insurer — to submit and negotiate your claim on your behalf, with your explicit authorisation
  • The Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) — if escalation of your claim is required
  • Our technology service providers — who assist in operating our platform (under strict data processing agreements)
  • Legal and compliance advisors — where required by law

Any third parties we engage are required to handle your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

6. AI Processing

Claim4me uses artificial intelligence tools to analyse policy documents and identify claim grounds. Your policy documents may be processed by AI systems to assist our team. This processing is carried out under strict confidentiality controls and your documents are never used to train AI models.

7. Cookies and Website Tracking

Our website uses cookies to understand how visitors use our site and to improve user experience. Cookies do not contain personally identifiable information. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some website functionality.

8. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request that we delete your information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Withdraw consent for processing (which may affect our ability to manage your claim)
